Arnold Merckx designed BBQ table in anodized aluminum, stainless steel and Jatoba hardwood. The ExTempore BBQ Table is designed to be used as an extension to all ExTempore standard height 75cm (29.5”), 90cm (35.5”) deep tables. By placing the BBQ and dining table together they look to become one piece of furniture, but you still have the option to put the barbecue aside if you like. With the BBQ next to the table the host is with his people while he prepares the food. Available in two different lengths. Optional castors, designed to be use on one end of table for easy moving, also available.
The ExTempore BBQ works on charcoal, and is equipped with two adjustable grills and one small wok to keep the food warm. The brackets can be used as handgrips, or for hanging accessories onto. The BBQ can be closed with a lid and is made of stainless steel. Its frame is made of anodized aluminum, its joints of stainless steel and the tabletop of Jatoba hardwood.

notes:
Important: Jatoba wood requires little or no maintenance. It can however be useful to remove persistent dirt using water and a (soft) brush. Extremis strongly advises you not to use a high-pressure hose as this will roughen the woods smooth surface and irreparably damage the woods fibers. If you want to maintain the woods natural colour, you should treat it with teak oil or with another colorless wood protection product (oil). Depending on the climate, this should be done once or twice a year. At first, the wood will give off a red dye every time it comes into contact with water. The dye that drips onto the frame and the surface will remain water-soluble and will disappear entirely after a while.

The ExTempore BBQ does not function on gas, but works like a regular BBQ, on charcoal. The plate you see in the picture is a cover plate to protect the barbecue, not to grill on.
