Your privacy is important to us at Livingspace, and we strive to keep your personal information confidential. By ensuring that you are aware of and understand our Privacy Policy, we can provide you with better service. Please take a moment to read the following policy to learn how we handle your personal information.

Livingspace collects and uses your personal information to give you superior customer service, to provide you with convenient access to our products and services, and to make a wider range available to you. In addition, at your option, your personal information can be used to keep you up to date on the latest product announcements, special offers, and other information we think you'd like to hear about via our eNewsletter.

Livingspace works with other companies that help us provide products and services to you, and we may provide your some of your personal information to these companies. For example, we give shipping companies necessary information so they can deliver your order efficiently. We require that the all companies that we provide information to safeguard your personal information in accordance with our policies. Only limited and necessary information, on a need-to-know basis, is provided to sources outside of our company.

Livingspace safeguards the security of the data you send us with physical, electronic, and managerial procedures. We urge you to take every precaution to protect your personal data when you are on the Internet. Change your passwords often, use a combination of letters and numbers, and make sure you use a secure browser.

Livingspace uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption on this site where personal information is required. To make purchases from shop.livingspace.com, you must use an SSL-enabled browser such as Netscape Navigator 3.0 or later, or Internet Explorer. This protects the confidentiality of your personal and credit card information while it is transmitted over the Internet.

You always have access to the information we have about you. To review and update your personal contact information, simply log in at shop.livingspace.com by accessing the My Account link.

Livingspace does not sell products, nor collect personal information, from persons under the age of 18 years. If you are under the age of 18, you may only use shop.livingspace.com with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Livingspace’s privacy policy is subject to change at any time. We encourage you to review the privacy policy regularly for any changes and contact us with any questions or concerns you may have.


We currently only accept credit cards as a form of payment: American Express, MasterCard and Visa.

“In Stock” items usually ship within 3 business days of receiving the order. Lead times for “Drop Ship” items (products that ship directly from supplier to customer), and “Special Order” items (product that is not usually stocked by Livingspace and is specially ordered for customer), are based on information provided by the manufacturers or suppliers.

As the products we sell are either “In Stock”, “Drop Ship” or “Special Order”, the items in your order may ship, and be delivered, separately. All "In Stock" items in your order will be shipped together. In regards to our Free Shipping offer, all items, excluding "Drop Ship" items, must be shipped together regardless if they are "In Stock" or "Special Order".

All delivery/lead times are noted in the product descriptions. All delivery/lead times are estimates only, and are subject to change without notice.
Livingspace will not be held liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense related to any delay in shipment or delivery.
Delivery dates cannot be guaranteed. If you must receive your order by a specific date, please contact us in advance of purchase to see if special arrangements can be made.
Customers must be available to accept their shipment at time of delivery. If a shipment becomes undeliverable, and any extra expenses are incurred and/or shipment is returned to sender, the customer will be held responsible for any such extra costs associated with the undeliverable shipment as well as all costs to re-ship the order.


At Livingspace, your satisfaction is very important to us. We strive to make your shopping experience with us as positive and memorable as possible. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase and would like to return, or exchange it, please read our policy below. If you have any questions please contact us and we will be more than happy to help you with any concerns you may have.

Merchandise purchased from shop.livingspace.com may be returned for store credit or exchange only within 14 days of delivery. All returns and exchanges must be pre-authorized by contacting Livingspace by calling 604-683-1116 or emailing us at eshop@livingspace.com. All returns received that are not pre-authorized will be subject to a 25% re-stocking fee. Approved returns and exchanges will receive a Return Authorization reference, along with instructions on how to return merchandise. Merchandise must be returned to Livingspace, at customer’s expense, via courier with insurance and tracking. A courier such as UPS, FedEx or DHL is recommended. Merchandise must be returned in its original condition, with its original packaging, a copy of sales receipt, Return Authorization reference. Any merchandise returned that is not in its original condition, or come with its original packaging, is subject to a 50% restocking fee.

Special Orders, Clearance Items, Lighting, Polycarbonate Items, Glassware and Dinnerware are not returnable. Any returns of these types of merchandise will be refused and sent back to customer (at customers cost) regardless of condition.
Customers must be available to accept their shipment at time of delivery. If a shipment becomes undeliverable, and any extra expenses are incurred and/or shipment is returned to sender, the customer will be held responsible for any such extra costs associated with the undeliverable shipment as well as all costs to re-ship the order.

Shipping charges are not refundable for credit. Refunds will only be issued on merchandise deemed as defective and/or not replaceable by Livingspace within a reasonable time frame.


Store Credit is valid for one year from date of issue. After one year any unused credit will be forfeited. Store Credit can be used toward any purchase, including shipping costs.


Damage & Loss claims will only be accepted by Livingspace within two business days of receipt. Damage & Loss claims reported after two business days of receipt will not be accepted. It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect merchandise immediately upon receipt. Our Damage policy includes obvious damage and loss as well as concealed damage. Livingspace will replace damaged and lost merchandise, if reported within two business days of receipt, at no cost to the customer (including shipping).

Replacement merchandise is subject to applicable product lead times.


Special Orders are considered any order for product that we do not have in stock at the time an order is placed and where the product must be specially ordered from the manufacturer or supplier.

All Special Orders require a minimum 50% deposit to be processed. The remaining balance, as well as any applicable shipping charges, will be processed prior to order being shipped to customer.

Special Orders cannot be cancelled, unless done so within two business days of purchase. After two business days of  purchase any cancellations may be subject to a 25% to 50% cancellation/re-stocking fee, as well as any shipping cost incurred by Livingspace related to the order.


All orders cancelled after one busines day of purchase (excluding Special Orders - see above) may be subject to a 25% cancellation/re-stocking fee, as well as any shipping costs incurred by Livingspace related to the order.


Orders shipped to addresses within the province of British Columbia are subject to PST (Provincial Sales Tax) and GST (Goods & Services Tax). Orders shipped to addresses outside of British Columbia, but within Canada are subject to GST only, except the Maritime Provinces (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador) which are subject to HST (Harmonized Sales Tax).

Orders shipped to address outside of Canada are not subject to any sales taxes, but may be subject to applicable import duties, taxes and/or fees (see “Duties & Taxes” below).


We currently do not offer online sales to International customers. Customers not located in the Canada or the USA should contact us regarding the purchasing of our products and shipping rates prior to using this site.


Orders shipped to address outside of Canada are not subject to any sales taxes, but may be subject to applicable import duties, taxes and/or fees. Any such import duties, taxes and/or fees are solely the responsibility of the purchaser and are not included in the price of the product and/or any shipping charges.

Due to certain supplier restrictions, we are unable to ship some products outside of Canada. Products currently with such restrictions include all Herman Miller products. All other brands are available to ship outside of Canada.


We do offer local pickup of orders from our Vancouver warehouse. If you would like to arrange pickup of your order, please contact us in advance of purchase, or request “local pickup” in the “Comments” box during the checkout process. You will be contacted when your order is ready for pick up, and a day/time will be arranged at your convenience.


You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. If you are under 18, you may use shop.livingspace.com only with involvement of a parent or guardian. Livingspace and shop.livingspace.com reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at their sole discretion.


Our web site may contain links that direct you to other sites. Please be aware that Livingspace and shop.livingspace.com will not be held liable for any issues resulting from use of such sites. We encourage our customers to always make themselves aware of the Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions of every web site that they visit.


In placing an order, you warrant that you are 18 years of age or over, and that you are providing accurate, true, and complete information, and that you have the authority to place the order.


You expressly understand and agree that your use of this site is at your sole risk and that this site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Livingspace and shop.livingspace.com make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of this site or the information, content, materials or products included on this site.


You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Livingspace and shop.livingspace.com and its officers, directors, employees and suppliers, from any claim, demand, action or damage, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made or incurred by any third party arising out of or related to your use of this site.


We reserve the right to terminate your account and restrict your use of this site if we have reason to believe you have violated any of these terms and conditions, including providing us with false information.
