Nelson® Pear® Lotus Table Lamp

Bringing a graceful presence to a table setting, the Nelson Pear Lotus Table Lamp is set on a steel base that is available with or without a walnut cover, and includes an 86-inch plug-in cord. A pull chain with a solid walnut end provides a convenient way to turn the lamp on and off. In 1952, a set of Swedish hanging lamps were introduced into the American market and George Nelson was impressed enough to want one for his office. When he learned that it was available at a Swedish import store in New York, he hurried to acquire one. The steep price tag, for that time, prevented him from buying one but it also inspired him to design his own. The result was a timeless collection of lamps with elemental, spherical shapes that complement contemporary interiors as easily and beautifully as they did mid-century homes.

Larger items will be locally delivered at no additional cost within 30 km from our warehouse locations. Please enter your shipping address at checkout to determine if you qualify for local delivery.

For all other locations and out-of-province orders, products are considered made-to-order and ship directly from the manufacturer’s facility free of charge. Specific manufacturer lead times apply and can range anywhere from 1-16 weeks. We do our best to update lead times on all our made-to-order products displayed at checkout.

Made-To-Order

At this time, ready-to-ship inventory is only eligible for local delivery within a 30km radius of our warehouse locations. Products delivered beyond 30km are Made-To-Order and ship directly from the manufacturers' facilities free of charge.

Free Shipping

We offer Free Shipping in Canada on most orders. Exceptions include deliveries to some rural locations (please see our remote delivery policy), and orders under $250 which are subject to a $20 handling fee.

Remote Delivery

We will do our best to fulfill your order based on our standard domestic shipping policy; however, some areas are significantly more expensive for us to ship and deliver to than others, so an additional surcharge may apply if your address falls outside of our normal delivery range. Remote delivery surcharges apply for destinations with a distance of 30 km or greater outside of major urban centres. We will contact you prior to applying any additional shipping surcharges.

In some cases items may be out of stock or made-to-order based on your selection.

If the ‘Add to cart’ button has been replaced with a ‘Pre-order’ button, this indicates that the product or variant is currently out of stock, but that it can be pre-ordered. We will order the item from the supplier for you, and either ship it to you or let you know when it's available for pickup once it arrives. 

We accept pre-orders on all items for sale on shop.livingspace.com.

Standard lead times for our suppliers can vary and we do our best to display accurate information on each product page. If an item is back-ordered and not going to be available within these time frames, we will contact you with an ETA and give you the option to change or cancel your order.
