Shipping Overview

At this time we can only offer shipping and delivery to addresses within Canada. All sales are in Canadian Dollars. Our Standard Domestic Shipping option is available for the following major cities and anything within a 25km radius of Halifax, NS. - St. John's, NFLD - Ottawa, ON - Toronto, ON - Montreal, QC - Winnipeg, MB - Regina, SK - Calgary, AB - Edmonton, AB - Kelowna, BC - Vancouver, BC. - Frederickton, NB - St. John, NB. Federal and Provincial Taxes are based on the provincial ship to address.

Most items ship direct from the manufacturers facilities and are shipped by designated freight carriers depending on the ship to address. In stock items are normally shipped within 48 hours of order. Items being shipped to remote areas will require an additional surcharge and will be discussed prior to processing your order. Delivery dates are approximate and are quoted in "business days" this does not include weekends and statutory holidays. PO Box addresses are not acceptable for freight deliveries.


Free Shipping

We offer Free Shipping on a select number of brands and products. Exceptions include many but not all Herman Miller and Knoll products (which do not qualify for free shipping), deliveries to some rural locations, and orders under $100 which are subject to a $20 handling fee.


Normal Delivery

Livingspace uses Canada Post for most deliveries. Once an order has been fulfilled we will provide a tracking number for reference. Canada Post delivers during business hours only and a signature is required upon delivery of your order. If no one is home during delivery times a pick up card will be issued to collect parcels at the nearest post office location. We do not keep inventory on all items. With the exception of showroom stock, all items have specific manufacturer lead times that can range anywhere from 1-16 weeks. Because these lead times change on a regular basis, please contact us or see this page for current lead times. Lead times are estimates only. Manufacturers may indicate longer than stated lead times after orders are placed, subject to demand and availability.


Remote Delivery

We will do our best to fulfill your order based on our standard domestic shipping policy; however, some areas are significantly more expensive for us to ship and deliver to than others, so an additional surcharge may apply due to the additional costs involved in reaching your area. We will contact you, prior to applying this shipping surcharge and prior to charging your credit card.


Scheduling Delivery

Once your order is ready for delivery, we’ll be in touch to let you know when it will arrive and what to expect on delivery day. Our logistics team will determine a set date and time window for receiving your order. Smaller items are often sent via courier. These deliveries are not scheduled in advance, but we will share tracking information so you know when to expect your order. Your delivery time window will be provided 24 - 48 hours ahead of your scheduled delivery date.


Delivery Day

With Threshold Delivery, your order will be delivered to the front door of your house or apartment. If you live in a multi-unit apartment building, we’ll deliver to the front door of your apartment whenever possible. Some multi-tenant buildings are restricting access to non-residents — in these cases, our team will deliver to the closest point to your home that they’re safely able to.

For In-Room and In-Room + Assembly deliveries, our team will only enter your home when appropriately masked and will take all necessary precautions to prevent any damage to property.

On the day of delivery, you’ll receive a phone call when the delivery team is at the requested destination.


Store Pick Up

If you prefer to pick up your order in person, we offer Store Pick Up. All purchases made on our online store will exclude any shipping or delivery fees if you choose the store pick up option at checkout. Our helpful store staff will contact you when the product has arrived in our showroom and will have your product ready when you arrive. If needed we will assist in loading the item into your vehicle.

Knoll Products

Due to the ongoing situation with the global supply chain lead times may vary for delivery of most custom made Knoll orders. All Knoll products are delivered directly from Knoll’s manufacturing facility. Smaller items have an extra shipping charge, larger items have a White Glove Delivery shipping charge, and office chairs always have free shipping. White Glove Delivery shipping charges are as follows:

7.5% of order value
Minimum: $85
Maximum: $500


White Glove Delivery

White Glove Delivery is available for most products. This service includes; inside delivery, unpacking and assembling the product, product placement and packaging removal and recycling. A scheduled appointment will be coordinated prior to the delivery and will take place Mon-Fri from 10:00AM to 5:00PM. Herman Miller Products

Due to the ongoing situation with the global supply chain lead times may vary for delivery of most custom made Herman Miller orders. All Herman Miller products are delivered directly from Herman Miller’s manufacturing facility. All Herman Miller products are made-to-order and therefore are non-refundable, cannot be changed, returned and/or cancelled.

Please note this is curbside delivery and will not be brought inside your home unless White Glove Service was requested.

Herman Miller office work chairs will incur a $57 shipping fee within Canada, calculated at checkout.

Please also note the following:

Orders less than $99 are charged a $20 small order fee at checkout. Additional charges apply for Remote Delivery Areas including the Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and other remote locations outside of major city centres.

Small items will be delivered by Canada Post or other courier service in your area. Once an order has been fulfilled we will provide a tracking number for reference. Due to the ongoing situation with COVID-19, drivers are not currently required to ask for signatures on delivery.

Large items will be delivered by freight service. This is standard curbside delivery; meaning the driver will not haul up an incline or up stairs, and it will be your responsibility to bring the item inside, complete any assembly, and remove packaging debris.

Some dining and side chairs will incur a $34 shipping fee within Canada, calculated at checkout.

Room of Choice will incur a 10% shipping fee within Canada (to a maximum of $345) calculated at checkout. Please also note the following:

Includes delivery to any room in a house or place of business, lift gate service, light assembly, and packaging material removed. Delivery requires both a delivery appointment and signature. Delivery typically occurs 7 to 14 business days after the date of shipment.
Additional charges apply for Remote Delivery Areas including the Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and other remote locations outside of major city centres.

Room of Choice with Assembly will incur a $345 shipping fee within Canada, calculated at checkout. Please also note the following:

This fee includes delivery to any room in a house or place of business, lift gate service, full assembly, and packaging materials removed.
Delivery requires both a delivery appointment and signature. Delivery typically occurs 7 to 14 business days after the date of shipment.


International Deliveries

At this time shopLivingspace.com does not deliver to countries outside of Canada. We are happy to discuss with you pick up arrangements for products shipped to our warehouse facility located in Vancouver, BC Canada. Please note, import duties may be charged for international shipments.


Changes and Cancellations

Changes and Cancellation of a delivery once shipped from our supplier’s facility will be subject to a $50 fee plus applicable taxes. This is non negotiable as nearly all courier and freight companies charge us this fee. To make a change to your delivery address please email us at online@livingspace.com, please include your name, order number, new delivery address as well as your updated billing address. We will verify your information prior to making the change and charging you the applicable fee.
