As if it were fabric under a microscope, or a colorful and impossible wooden floor, the design of the Round Mirage rugs transmits a powerful optical effect, an illusion -as its name suggests. The Orange version, in particular, is the most suitable option for luminous rooms, and it may even be used as a tapestry on the wall. It is a piece knotted by hand and entirely made with New Zealand wool.

The hand-knotted technique is a manual method of rug production that allows for incredibly detailed designs, precisely because each knot is knotted by hand. It is a very laborious technique and, consequently, it offers a great flexibility. Bearing this peculiarity in mind, at GAN we create hand-knotted rugs both with uniform designs and with an apparent randomness in their patterns.
